408 at Work

The SR 408 (East-West Expressway) expansion, which began in July 2003, will eventually extend 16 miles from Clarke Road to SR 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay) with completion expected in five years. As part of this project, all SR 408 toll plazas are being converted to Express Lanes, allowing E-PASS customers to travel through the plaza at the posted highway speed.
