WEKIVA PARKWAY PUBLIC WORKSHOP IN EAST LAKE COUNTY FOR REVIEW AND DISCUSSION OF PRELIMINARY SERVICE ROAD CONCEPT

District Five of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority (OOCEA) will conduct a public workshop on the preliminary Service Road Concept in east Lake County developed in the Wekiva Parkway Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study.

Information on the date, time and location of the public workshop is as follows:

Date: Thursday, December 17, 2009
Time: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (EST)
Location: Sorrento Christian Center

  Sorrento, Florida 32776

This workshop is being held to inform the general public of the project’s progress and to solicit feedback in regard to the preliminary Service Road Concept. Display boards and other relevant information will be available at the workshop for public review. Members of the study team will be available to provide assistance and answer questions. The format of the meeting will be informal. The public is invited to attend at any time during the workshop to review the project information, ask questions, and discuss any ideas or concerns with members of the study team.
